You'll get the chance to meet not only the folks behind EcoShip, but also fellow organizations such as Snail Catalog and Digs with Dignity that will be sharing their work and mission.

EcoShip is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that collects shipping materials from Chicagoland communities and distributes them to businesses and individuals for reuse.

Join us as we welcome Earth Month. We'll be hosting a neighborhood clean-up and 8 sustainable organizations and businesses based in Chicago who will be sharing their missions. Enjoy complimentary light bites and N/A beverages throughout the event and enter for a chance to win some goodies!

Itinerary:

10:00am-11:00am Neighborhood clean-up in partnership with Love Blue Inc. Please RSVP HERE if you would like to join the clean-up.

11:00am-3:00pm During our open house, drop off your packaging materials, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and enter our chance-to-win drawing by making a donation of your choosing towards our organization. All proceeds will directly benefit our work in the community.

12:00pm-2:00pm Check out 8 incredible Chicago organizations and businesses focused around sustainability. Learn about Reduce Waste Chicago, The Unwaste Shop, WasteNot Compost, Cradles to Crayons, Rebuilding Exchange, Snail Catalog, and Trash Castle and how to get involved with them.

Age Info: This event is kid-friendly. We truly believe that change starts with our youth and highly encourage them to attend!

Parking: Attendees can find paid street parking on Chicago Ave and free parking on Wolcott Ave by Commercial Club Park and Damen, north of Chicago Ave past the first alley and south of Chicago Ave past Superior St.
